Help Menu Commands

The Help menu allows you to select several Help functions, as well as view the current version of Framework™ software.

• ContentsContents gives you access to the online help information about the Gamry Instruments software loaded on your computer system.
• SearchSearch looks for online help information about a specific Explain Scripting function, class, or keyword. To use Search, you must open a script file and highlight (select) the word or function of interest. When the word or function is highlighted you may select the Help > Search command to locate any help pertaining to your selection. For example, in the following script, selecting Help > Search opens information on the Explain function Warning (). image\search.gif You may activate Help > Search by highlighting the desired Explain function or keyword and pressing Ctrl+F1. This feature is meant for users who wish to create their own custom scripts, as well as better understand the existing scripts. Anyone familiar with programming languages such as C will instantly recognize this feature.
• About Gamry Framework...About Gamry Framework... provides information about the Gamry Instruments software loaded on your computer system. This command is always available. When you click About Gamry Framework..., a dialog box displaying Gamry Instruments, Inc. information appears. Click on the box to close it.
• Support InformationSupport Information opens a Support Info window giving you information on the latest software version numbers, firmware, and paths on your host computer. When you are finished reviewing the information, click the OK button. This information is useful if you call Gamry for technical support.
